Dear friends of the Festival du Dessin!
Our second edition, which ended on 19 May, fulfilled our highest expectations, with almost 141,000 admissions in four weeks. A curious and varied public also turned out in large numbers for the various cultural and festive events we put on: openings, signings, round-table discussions, concerts, film screenings, closing lunch, etc.
Thank you for your enthusiastic support and generous presence, without which our great adventure would not have been such a success!

11 iconic locations
A city-wide festival: our partners are making their exhibition spaces available, starting with the City of Arles, the Museon Arlaten - musée de Provence, the Musée départemental Arles antique, the Musée Réattu, the Méjan association, Croisière, the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation and Lee Ufan Arles.
46 exhibitions and over 1,500 works of art
Exploring a range of themes, we have put together a selection of works by 43 artists, in addition to the 46 students from the Schools of Decorative Arts who are taking part in the "La jeune garde à l'honneur" exhibition, and the 10 primary school classes from Arles taking part in the exhibition "Les enfants d'Arles exposent".
4 weeks of meetings
Exhibitions and events every week for a whole month! A festive opening weekend with artists and lenders, meetings and round-table discussions about the exhibitions, concerts and shows, a programme in association with Cinémas Le Méjan, and a closing lunch open to all!
So we look forward to seeing you again next year, with a host of great surprises in store and some great new names to discover !
